Register your change of address with the post office and others.
Confirm dates with your removal firm or van hire
Settle outstanding bills on current property. Cancel milk, papers and deliveries
If necessary arrange a new doctor and dentist in your area.

On day of removal take gas, electricity and water readings at your current property

On the day of moving

Collect keys for new property from the estate agent or solicitor
Take readings for gas, electricity and water in your new property
Inform various organizations of your new address such as car insurance company DVLNI

The lender will advise you when your first payment will be taken from your bank.
